The Importance of Affiliations

It has always ben important to my professional reputation to be part of international organisations.

The perception that international organisations are legitimate is, crucial to securing cooperation and support from its members. They support taking action to prevent and address violations of professional ethics and in doing so preserve their effectiveness. For this reason alone I have chosen to belong to a number of organisations who have excellent reputations.

There are significant advantages, a bad reputation can impose significant damage.

Wanting to maintain a respected reputation does, by its very nature, become a powerful motivator and disciplinarian.

Oftentimes, individuals may not believe they have the tools, resources, or influence to have affiliations with powerful organisations They may feel that they do not have the knowledge needed to contribute.

Being in alliance with an international organisation means I am recognised for the services I can provide,

It is often through the day-to-day interactions, helping people heal and grow, speaking with colleagues, listening with empathy, and making an effort to understand others’ experiences that can make the greatest impact, both personally and across the world.

To empower others, we must first empower ourselves.

To be unafraid in our relationships with others, in conversations, and actions gives a courage,whicg in turn, translates into stepping stones for all-encompassing and collaborative connections to others,

It takes a great deal of commitment to remain part of any ethical organisation.

There are times when for reasons unknown, when one has to defend themselves against the tide of criticism.

This is the nature of being human, denoting the fundamental dispositions and characteristics, that includes the many ways we think, feel and act. One cannot possibly control the thinking or judgment of another .
