How would YOU like to be remembered ?
For me ? Well the first thought that comes to my mind as I write this blog, was without hesitation, “kind.”
Then, as I started to think about this further, I had an epiphany, in realising that we never know when we are going to live our last day and take our last breath.
We’ve all heard the saying, “live every day as if it were your last,” however, not nearly as frequently do we hear people telling us to act in such a way that people would not have anything negative to say if we were to die tomorrow.
So often, we get caught up in the pettiness of life.
At times, I too, am guilty of this
We become anxious .We judge people. We assess people. We assess ourselves.
How did the world get to the point where we’ve succumbed to this being the standard of the important things in life?
Hypothetically, if you were to die tomorrow, how do you want to be remembered?
For me I wish to be remembered as kind.
I’d like to be remembered as selfless, positive, and compassionate.
I want to be known for being brave enough to overcoming my challenges, for living my purpose.
For someone who is generous and non-judgmental.
Id like to be remembered as always smiling, never taking life too seriously.
I want to be remembered for being humble and unordinary; for having gratitude for my life.
Fo being considerate of any and every human that may walk into my life, even if only for a mere second, is how I want to be remembered.
Now ask yourself the same question and then live by your answer because there are far too many people in the world who waste the gift of life they’ve bee given.
The world is filled with unlimited gratitude and never-ending intrinsic beauty.
Never forget what you want your worth to be, and apply yourself daily with vigour, on how you want to be remembered.
Be kind to yourself
YOU are precious
